VALE
Best Bitter (3.7%), Black Beauty Porter (4.3%), Black
Swan Dark Mild (3.3%), Edgar's Golden Ale (4.3%), Good King Senseless
(5.2%), Grumpling Premium Ale (4.6%), Hadda's Headbanger (5%), Hadda's
Spring Gold (4.6%), Hadda's Winter Solstice (4.1%), Notley Ale (3.3%)
Special (4.5%): Quite malty, but dries out to a
hoppy bitterness as the finish.
Wychert Ale (3.9%)
VALE OF GLAMORGAN
Vale of Glamorgan No 1 (4.2%)
VALHALLA
Auld Rock (4.5%), White Wife (3.8%), Simmer Dim (4%), Sjolmet Stout (5%).
VENTNOR
Admiral's Ale (4%): Wow! Hoppy (Goldings and
Challenger) and dry enough to make your tastebuds stand up and salute.
There's more of the malt in the aroma, but from then on it's hop, hop,
hop. I made the mistake of chilling it too much; when it warmed up a bit,
more depth of peppery hop flavour came out. Very refreshing. (DN)
Antifreeze (5.2%): If you like spicy, Christmassy beers with a good
heartening festive aroma about them, this is or you. One of those 'Christmas
cake in a glass' beers that packs a good punch. (DN)
De-Icer (4.5%), Druid Fluid (4.5%), Golden Bitter (4%), Hippy High
Ale (4.4%), Hygeia Organic Ale (4.6%), Molly Downer (4.2%), Old Ruby Ale
(4.7%), Oyster Stout (4.5%), Pistol Night (4.4%), Sand Rock (5.6%), Scarecrow
Best (4.2%), Sunfire Bitter (4.3%), Wight Spirit (5%)
