TEIGNWORTHY
Amy's Ale (4.8%): Excellent hop-malt balance
in a clear and refreshing pint which drinks like a session beer and could
catch one unawares! A seasonal beer produced in April and October. (DN)

TEME VALLEY
Hearth Warmer (6%): Black, malty winter brew. Smells - in the nicest possible way - like that bonfire night aroma, when you're standing around the fire, hot dog in hand, watching the kids run around with their sparklers. Truly a winter warmer. (DN)
THEAKSTON
Best Bitter (3.8%): A fine, golden coloured beer,
with a full flavour that lingers pleasantly on the palate. With a good
bitter-sweet balance this beer has a robust hop character described as
citrus and spicy. Its a refreshing and very satisfying pint
noted for the aroma of its Fuggles and dry hopping strain Golding to add
to its characteristic Theakston aroma. (brewery notes)
Black Bull Bitter (3.9%): A bright amber bitter, well attenuated to
give a crisp, refreshingly dry taste. Late and dry-hopping with Golding
hops ensures a pronounced citrus fruit flavour and aroma. (Brewery

Cooper's Butt (3.9%): An amber red, full bodied bitter in the classic
IPA style. Robust in favour, late and dry-hopped with Golding and Fuggle
hops to give a pronounced citrus taste and aroma. (Brewery notes)
Grouse Beater (4.2%): A golden mid-gravity bitter with initial sweetness
balanced with a moderate hop bitterness. Dry-hopped with Fuggles to give
a delicate aroma, complemented by a subtle hint of moorland berry.

Hogshead Bitter (4.1%): This robust ale exhibits a maltiness with
underlying tones of luscious cane sugars, while the use of Bramling Cross
dry hops contribute to the striking aroma and palate. (Brewery notes)
Lightfoot Bitter (4.1%): This is a very pale, straw coloured ale,
that uses a special malt to produce a pronounced peach-like
element to the aroma and palate, complemented by a floral hop character.
Brewed using a blend of traditional Fuggle, Golding and Bramling Cross

Masham Ale (6.5%): A deceptively smooth, full bodied, strong ale,
tawny in colour and exhibiting a beautifully rich balanced character of

Old Peculier (5.6%): A rich, dark, smooth-tasting beer. Brewed using
the traditional Fuggle hop, Old Peculier is Theakston's best known beer
and has a large and enthusiastic following all over Britain and around

Paradise Ale (4.2%): A full-bodied ale using pale ale malt and an
exotic blend of old and new world, full of hop flowers including
Cascade to give a light, lusciously flavoured fruity taste. (Brewery

Traditional Mild (3.5%): A dark beer with a dry palate and a full,
rounded, Fuggle hop favour. Brewed using three different malts: pale malt
for body, crystal malt for rich favour, and black malt for texture and

XB (4.5%): A premium strength, ruby coloured ale with a rich favour
and full body. The balance between bitterness and fruitiness from the
Bramling Cross and Fuggle hops used give XB a distinctively complex aroma.

THWAITES
Double Century (4.8%): Brewed first to celebrate
Thwaites' 200th anniveresary in 2007, this is a well-balanced amber beer
with a malty character leading to a refreshing, bitter orange finish.
Wainwright's (4.1%): A refreshing, straw-coloured beer, with soft
fruit flavours and a hint of sweetness from the malt. Hops used are Hersbrücker,

Best Bitter (4%)
Dark Mild (3.5%): A lovely interpretation of the style, smooth, sweetish
and, again, very drinkable, with so much taste for little ABV. (DN:

TITANIC
Anchor (4.1%): The first beer the brewery ever
produced, back in 1985. To celebrate its 20th anniversary it has changed
the name of the original beer, Premium, to Anchor. A regular finalist
at the Great British Beer Festival and multiple winner of West Midlands
Beer of the Year, this impressive brown/gold beer has a strong fruity
aroma. Bitterness in the initial taste slips gently from the mooring to
allow the full impact of the hops to burst through. (Brewery

Band Played On (4.1%): This copper coloured beer has bitterness right
to the end, balanced by a smooth sweet finish. (Brewery notes)
Black Ice (4.1%): This sumptuous, warming beer is sufficiently well
hopped to provide balance, which comes in handy when there's black ice
around. (Brewery notes)
Butler's Revenge (4.9%): In the great houses the butler was responsible
for the brewing of fine ales for all the household weak 'Boy's
Bitter' for the labourers and strong ales for the masters. The finest
of them all, however, he would keep for himself! This pale powerful ale
is straight from his secret stash and while the colour and delightful
hoppy character suggest easy drinking, the smooth finish will leave your

Captain Smith's Strong Ale (5.2%): A red/brown, full-bodied beer,
hoppy and bitter with a sweetness and roast malt flavour and a good strong

Coachman'sTipple (4.8%): This ruby red and rich beer has fine balancing
hops and real depth of character. (Brewery notes)
Deckchair (4.4%): Let the golden hue of the beer relax the eye while
the initial sweetness dries to allow the malt flavours to mix with a refreshing

Eight Bells (4.5%): Rung to signify the end of the last watch of day.
This tawny coloured robust beer is honey sweet, but balanced with delightful

Engine Room (4.6%): Like the engine room that has power to spare,
sitting at the heart of this beer, smoothly letting the flavours push
forwards onto the tongue, sweetness and bitterness alike slip from this

English Glory (4.5%): This rose red beer, brewed using only English
ingredients, has the poise and balance, strength and guile to defeat any

Hidden Depths (4.4%): Hidden among the sweet and powerful combination
of the finest ingredients England has to offer are American hops that
are just the ticket for the summer season. Mind the smoothness: it will
creep up on you. If you like old-fashioned brown beer, here is the treasure

Iceberg (4.1%): A combination of Maris Otter pale malt and fine wheat
malt give this refreshing beer real zest. Add fresh-tasting Yakima Galena
and Cascade hops and you get a fantastic wheat beer that will hole any

Last Porter Call (4.9%): The porters scurry around loading the passengers'
bags and building up a tremendous thirst. When the day is done their preferred
tipple is, like this beer, dark, strong and well rounded. The richness

Mild (3.5%): A mild of classic style, full of roast malt flavours

Nautical Mild (4.8%): Brewed to celebrate Mild Month, this dark ruby
beer has a knotty juxtaposition. Sweetness from the dark malts preludes

Stoker (4.5%): Light in colour and generously hopped, this will

Stout (4.5%): A true old-fashioned stout. A dark combination of malt
and roast with some hops. Strongly flavoured and well-balanced.

Sundeck (4.3%): A tan-coloured beer with hop character developing
in the rounded flavour. (Brewery notes)
Triple Screw (4.5%): Hoppy, malty and smooth a three-pronged
attack on the taste buds. (Brewery notes)
White Star (4.8%): A light, refreshing, distinctly hoppy beer with
a freshness that belies its strength. So easy to drink it will fool all

Wreckage (7.2%): This sweet, malty winter ale has a port-like aroma.
Oranges and lemons play around the edges of the tongue while dried fruit
and cinnamon drive home the wonderful warming effect. A walnut aftertaste
